Description
Antique drabware creamer with contrasting raised reliefs in blue, Wedgwood, England – 1810-1830.Ceramic. Tea wares. 19

Century. A dry bodied stoneware cream jug. Applied jasper relief ornamentation in neoclassical patterns colored blue with cobalt stains. The inside space of this vessel has a clear glaze.
Drabware is a dull brownish-gray stoneware or earthenware ceramic body.
Mark:
WEDGWOOD (impressed) ‘circle mark’ (impressed) c (impressed).
Dimensions:
Length 5.75” EST. (end to end). Height 4” EST. (handle).
Condition – This antique drabware cream jug is in good condition. Its stoneware body is without any damage or repairs.
There are some losses to the relief ornamentation in blue.
