    Super cute historic ceramic pitcher celebrates the Chautauqua celebration that took place from June 27-July 4, 1976 in Devil's Lake, ND. A great souvenir if you were there and didn't buy the pitcher or wanted to be there and missed it. Or, just spin it around and keep the decal to the wall and put some super fresh posies from the garden.

    About the Chautauqua
    From the 1890s to the 1930s, one of North Dakota's popular summertime resorts was the Chautauqua at Devils Lake. There, amidst cool breezes from the big lake, one could ride the special train to the grounds, camp and relax, row or swim at the boating area, or watch attractions such as the first airplane flight in the city, a crowd-pleasing event of 1912.
