Queen Ann “Spring Melody” Vintage Fine Bone China Creamer & SugarThis auction is for a lovely vintage Queen Ann “Spring Melody” creamer and sugar, made in England in the 1950s.
The bottom of the creamer and open sugar has the identifying mark of the Queen Ann Fine Bone China England as well as the pattern name “Spring Melody”.
Measurements
: The creamer measures approx. 2.75" high and 4" across the mouth and the handle. The sugar measures approx. 3.5" in diameter across the top and stands approx. 2.25" high.
Condition:
The vintage Queen Ann “Spring Melody” creamer is in very good condition. There are no chips or cracks. There are, however, several kiln flaws, which appear mostly as tiny black dots in white background glaze. There is also some wear to the gilt edging. The creamer has some residue from, most likely, a former price sticker, on the bottom area where the maker's information is found. Both pieces need a good cleaning.
Sold AS IS and AS FOUND. No returns, so please examine photographs carefully and ask questions before bidding. I can easily send more photographs to you if you need them.
