    Description

Early concept art for Ridley Scott's "Alien", the classic 1979 sci-fi horror film, featuring the "Engine Room" with "Emergency Switches" noted. Design shows a cavernous room with an individual - small in comparison - working at the center. Artwork was done in 1977, signed "Scott" at bottom, possibly by Ridley Scott, but more likely Elliot Scott, a Hollywood production designer. Artwork is rendered in pen and marker in colors of grey, black and tan on lightweight artist paper. Measures 17" x 9.25". Near fine condition. From the collection of former 20th Century Fox executive Peter Beale, whose COA accompanies the lot.
