Solidus (Gold, 20 mm, 4.43 g, 6 h), Constantinople, 947-950. +IhS XPS REX REGNANTIVm' Facing bust of Christ Pantocrator, wearing tunic, himation and a cross nimbus with three pellets in the arms, raising right hand in benediction and holding Book of Gospels in his left.
