    Description

Offered for sale is a stunning antique blue transferware salad plate manufactured in Staffordshire, England during the late 1800s by odmore Walker & Co..  The plate is in the Minerva pattern which displays a Neoclassical landscape with courting couple on the steps of a large building.  The back of the plate is marked with the pattern name, and overall the plate measures approximately 7 3/4" in diameter.
The overall condition of the lot plate excellent.  It is extremely clean and have no chips, cracks, or restoration.  The white earthenware is still bright and the blue color is deep with nice contrast. The glaze is glossy with fine consistent crazing and there are standard light scratches on the surface.  The plate displays extremely well and would be a nice addition to any collection or home!
