Joins 3.0 inch OD pipe to 3.0 inch ID pipe. Exhaust clamp is a simple, effective way to connect heavy-duty exhaust system components such as pipes, mufflers, catalytic converters, headers, manifolds. Torque: 63 N·m.
Connection Type: ID-OD slip fit connection with either straight or "Z" compression slit. This narrow exhaust band clamp commonly use on slotted pipes or stainless steel connection where disassembly for service is likely.
Distributes the clamping force evenly over the entire 360° to provide tight sealing and prevent leaks and prohibit exhaust pipe distortion. Material: 304 stainless steel strap and mild steel hardware, serviceability, durability and reusable.
Easy to handle and disassemble. Suggestion: Wrap the pipe with several layers of aluminum tape over the clamping surface to take up for slight out-of-round and help seal.
