Because of the low Mintage of 287,270 for this Liberty head, this date is rare in higher Near gem Mint State grades. This is what we call a sleeper rarity. A date that flys under the radar with only a few astute collectors that recognize its potential.
This 1903-P Liberty Head Double Eagle Gold Coin PCGS MS 64 will make an excellent addition to any precious metals portfolio. The coin comes graded by the reputable PCGS as Mint State 64 many years ago- an excellent condition given this near gem example is over 120 years old.
