    Description

1862-S  NGC  XF45   Double Eagle Liberty Coronet Type 1
Popular and rare Civil War coin!
Rare.  Nice and decent XF45 grading.  Nicely struck.  Very nice details.  Original skin.  Good color.  Eye clean.  No dark spots, no deep scratches.  Much better in person on hand to eye distance.  Remember that you are looking at the coin on high magnification.  Presents itself better than how it is captured in the photos above.

Gold is a proven hedge against inflation.  These rare graded gold coins are the better, if not the best, option to invest in gold.
These historical rare coins make a good collection too.
Own a piece of history.  These gold coins are over 160 years old and will just get more and more valuable in time.  Each day, even the raw or lower grade Double Eagle gold coins are now distancing its value from spot gold price.
A gold coin will beat a gold bullion anytime ~ has rarity, numismatic, historical and collectible value, that increases over time.  It has more appreciation value.
A graded slabbed gold coin will beat a raw gold coin anytime ~ insures authenticity, preserves its condition, and distinguish from any unknown/poor state of a coin.
A PCGS certification will beat another grading anytime ~ most widely accepted and known for having the strictest grading standard.
